Why go? This vegetarian-friendly restautant is a SF classic, serving up Burmese homestyle cooking in an unassuming spot.
What to order? This place has lots of popular, kid friendly dishes (they can also accommodate younger/non-spicy taste buds with plain steam tofu, plain noodles, steam chicken and broccoli, etc.). The servers are happy to make recommendations; we suggest you definitely check out their spicy & rich curries, tea leaf salad, Burmese Chicken & Shrimp Casserole and garlic chili shrimp.
Pipsqueak tip This restaurant has 2 high chairs and 2 boosters so you won’t need to worry about seating. The wait can get long however so check out their sister restaurant, BStar (just down the block) – that takes reservations, has a private room/patio and carries many of Burma’s popular dishes.
