Why go? The hip atmosphere at both locations —in Soho and the West Village—never gets in the way of awesome service, kick-ass cocktails and really yummy dishes—New York Magazine aptly called it South African Israeli Jewish Grandmother cuisine. They are open all day but only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more, so plan accordingly and expect a wait, particularly at brunch.
