Maialino

Why go? A little bit of Roman comfort on Gramercy Park. This Danny Meyer concept has a perfect patina — soft woods and checked tablecloths — to ensure that you feel right at home, and the menu makes you feel transported

What to eat?  Pastas and vegetables get star treatment here, but you’d be remiss not to include a little bit of something porcine in your meal too. Their namesake maialino is one way to partake.

Pipsqueak tip The slightly louder coffeeshop/caffe up front makes for a good quick meal. They also have highchairs available and full changing facilities in the lobby of the hotel.
