Don’t be confused be the assertion of some publications that this is a coffee shop, or clothing store, or bar — it is those things, but it is also a really great restaurant, worth seeking out if you are in east DC. It’s certainly got the looks too, with trendy decor and neon accents.
What to eat? The cuisine is a mix of Cambodian and Taiwanese flavors, all best enjoyed family-style — try the roasted red pork bao platter and ask for extra bao, or come for dim sum brunch to try the widest variety of dishes. Taiwanese fried chicken has a special place in our hearts, so get some of that too.
Pipsqueak tip Owner/chef Erik Bruner-Yang is father to a toddler himself, so families of all ages will feel welcomed here.
