Ya know how sometimes you have to settle a little on the food for a family-friendly atmosphere? NOT HERE. The El Felix at the Battery Atlanta is the absolute best of both worlds.
What to eat? The pozole is heavenly, somehow managing a chili base meets soup broth meets the tenderest bits of pork shoulder and shrimp. We have a bisabuela in our family (Spanish for great grandmother) and the picadillo rivaled hers. What?! But it did. The fried egg on top added the creamiest, most decadent element, so go for the $2 add. We also love the tacos al pastor. Again. Super tender pork with sweet chili spice and grilled pineapple.
Pipsqueak tip Kiddo meals are $7 and include elevated spins on nachos, tacos, and quesadillas AND they come with a popsicle. Seriously? Best thing ever.
