Town Hall

Bustling upscale tavern lures crowds with modern takes on Southern comfort fare

Source: Town Hall

Why go? Popular Southern-inspired eatery in SF’s SOMA/ downtown district, Town Hall has become a San Francisco classic – pumping out upscale interpretations of your favorite New Orleans-inspired cuisine in a hip but honey atmosphere.

What to order? We always start with the country hams and pimento cheese and usually move on to the Roasted Veal Meatballs, BBQ Gulf Shrimp, Faith’s Warm Ham & Cheese Toast and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Be sure to save room for dessert – their Butterscotch & Chocolate Pot De Creme and Sticky Toffee Cake are out of this world decadent.

Pipsqueak tip Located in SOMA, this place is a delicious treat to take the kids on a weekend when there aren’t as many people working downtown.
