Source: Girl and the Goat
If the name doesn’t get your kid to want to come, we don’t know what will. This place great for a date night with the kids or not. What can be better than small plates where you can try everything, bold flavors, amazing amazing bread (which you have to pay for but worth it), and low priced options for a high end place (top price nothing more than $20)? If you’re really daring (with kids that is), be sure to get a seat at the counter.
What to eat? All the veggies (cauliflower, green beans, wood grilled broccoli), chickpea fritters, grilled baby octopus, ham frites, and miso butterscotch budino are a few of the hits here. Not to mention, this place has an ENTIRE menu dedicated to goat! Be sure to try the goat empanadas and confit goat belly. If eating goat is the craziest thing you’re going to do, maybe take it a step further and try the wood oven roasted pig face.
Pipsqueak tip Get there early or make a reservation, otherwise be prepared with some activities for a wait!
