There’s no getting away from the fact you’re in Chelsea at Gordon Ramsay’s second Maze Grill. This casual yet distinctly upmarket set-up on the site of the restaurant where he won his first Michelin star is all about the protein. It’s an all-day Manhattan-style steakhouse that’s decidedly kid friendly.
What to eat? Meat feasts charred to perfection on the American Montague grill are the big draw, taking in dry-aged British rare-breed beasts and USDA wagyu, with sushi and sashimi to start things off. There are fun starters and luxe sides that appeal to kids and adults: pork cheek lollipops with apple ketchup, edamame, smashed avocados with sweet potato chips, perhaps, or mac and cheese.
Pipsqueak tip Children eat free all day every day with a ‘Tilly’s Treats’ kids’ menu (available at all Maze Grills), inspired by Ramsay’s daughter’s cookbook.
