Palo Alto Creamery

Diner | $$
Come here for the ultimate old-timey diner experience, with breakfast served all day, tuna melts, fries and ice cream sundaes, of course.

Palo Alto locals used to come here for the 15-cent milkshakes… back in 1923. And while the prices have gone up a bit, not much has changed since then.

What to eat?  Their seasonal flavors range from the predictable (Oreo cookie) to the more “exotic” (Burgundy cheery). We suggest ordering egg cream or ice cream float to really lock in the nostalgia.

Pipsqueak tip  Kids will get a kick out of ordering their banana split from an actual soda jerk and taking a spin on the vintage style red vinyl counter stools.
