Our definition of comfort cuisine. There is something for everyone on the menu, and USC’s new digs are kinda perfect, with sunny standalone tables and a buzzy front door bar downstairs, plus stair (or elevator) access to cozy booths with a view, and a hidden back bar upstairs.
What to order You must order at least one of the pastas — although the veggies and lightly fried items are always “mmm”-inducing too. We especially love the gnudi, the polenta, and the candele pasta with carrots.
Pipsqueak tip Get there early and snag one of the tables at the upstairs bar area. There’s also a bench in the unisex bathroom that works as a changing table in a pinch.
